2022 Shipping Delays

To our valued customers,

I’m sorry to inform you that due to labor shortages, shipping delays and, of course, the consequences of COVID-19, some A Wish Come True styles are shipping later than the original estimated date.

We, as a company are devastated at the failure on our part to supply all promised goods in a timely manner. We are already putting systems in place to be a better partner in your performance for the future seasons.

Below you will find some answers to general questions about delays. Please accept our apology as we understand the trust you have put in us.

How do I know if a style has been delayed?

If you would like to check the status of an open order, you can view your order history on our website. The best way to get a detailed update on orders that are still in production is to contact customer service at 1-800-755-2248 or wishweb@awishcometrue.com. We typically ship orders when they are complete, so although your order may still be in production, many of the items on the order may already be ready to ship. We can ship styles that are completed upon request.


How do I cancel a style due to ship date change?

You can cancel a style that has been delayed by sending an email to wishweb@awishcometrue.com. Please include your order number and the style number. Once your cancellation request has been processed, we will credit your original credit card. If we are unable to credit your card or you paid by check or money order, we will send you a check. Please look for your refund within 7-10 business days. We invite you to shop for a replacement style by browsing our in-stock or clearance sections.


The new ship date does not work for me. How do I replace this costume with an in-stock style?

Browse our in-stock or clearance sections on our website, then simply place your order online for the replacement style. In-stock costumes ship within 7 business days. After placing your order for the replacement style, send us an email to wishweb@awishcometrue.com that includes the original order number and style number you wish to cancel. We will take care of cancelling the style from your order and will process your refund within 10 business days.


When will my in-stock costumes ship?

In-stock costumes ship within 7-10 business days. Remember to check ship dates in the cart before placing your order.


Can you guarantee the ship date?

The ship date for your items takes into account all the information we have today. Labor shortages coupled with global supply chain issues, including everything from the availability of raw materials to make our products, to international freight and transportation delays, have resulted in an environment unlike anything we've ever seen.

Due to these reasons, we cannot guarantee ship dates, but we are doing everything we can to deliver products as timely as possible.
